Studying and preserving biodioversity

Paralleling Hermès's commitment to social and environmental responsibility, the Fondation d'entreprise Hermès is supporting a range of projects designed to highlight the all-important need to safeguard our environment.
The Foundation is focusing its support on research and initiatives in the field of biodiversity and ecosystems, raising public awareness of these vital issues.
The Foundation is naturally interested in the particular role of human expertise in the management and preservation of balanced eco-systems.
The Foundation is collaborating with IDDRI (France's Institut du développment durable et des relations internationales), financing specific projects and consulting with the institute to identify suitable targets for its support. Together, the Fondation and IDDRI organise public conferences exploring key issues in the field of biodiversity.
