Our third biennial Skills Academy explores the many facets of metal, with a focus on innovation for tomorrow’s world. The Foundation’s programme is aimed at artisans, designers and engineers eager to take a fresh look at the world of metal, and to harness their practice and expertise to a collective, experimental project. Throughout the first semester 2017, our monthly Morning Sessions enable interested members of the public to extend their knowledge of this essential material, from a historical, aesthetic, economic and technical perspective, and to engage in ground-breaking debate on its future and sustainability.
